Lee Ryan has released a statement following his arrest for alleged drink-driving and suspected possession of cocaine.
The Blue star spent Friday at a police station after being pulled over by police in west London shortly after 5.30am when officers saw his Range Rover being driven erratically.
He allegedly refused to provide a breath test and was taken into custody at a police station. The Celebrity Big Brother contestant was charged with failing to provide a specimen and criminal damage - reportedly after he urinated in his cell.
The singer's official spokesperson has now released a statement confirming Lee's arrest, saying "no excuses will be made, but he will be seeking professional help".
"I can confirm that Lee was arrested in the early hours of Friday morning. He was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and is awaiting a court date.
"He was charged with failure to provide a specimen and criminal damage. A controlled substance was found in his possession.
"This low point has caused considerable concern to Lee's family, loved ones, and of course the Blue boys... No excuses will be made on Lee's behalf, but he will be seeking professional help for those issues that he has been unable to overcome on his own."
The Class A drugs were allegedly found after a search of Lee and his car but the charge is pending as the substances are tested.
The father of two was bailed last night to appear at Ealing Magistrates' Court on May 2.
A Met Police spokesman said: "Lee Ryan, 30, will appear on bail at Ealing Magistrates' court on Friday, May 2, charged with failing to provide a specimen and criminal damage."
