-_- "Sam Bailey" I conceived my baby on New Year's Eve /'/

Sam, who's already got two children Brooke and Tommy with hubby Craig, sat down for a chat about X Factor, Sharon Osbourne, her happy baby news and more.

During the interview Sam, who announced she was pregnant with her first child earlier this month, was asked when she thought the baby was conceived (TMI, probably) and initially couldn't work it out.

But with a little help from a maths-savvy journalist, the former prison officer pinned it down to New Year's Eve before her G-A-Y performance.

The 36-year-old also joked that Michael Bolton, who she recorded music with earlier this year, wasn't the dad.
"As soon as I announced I was pregnant had a lot of people saying is it Michael Bolton's," she laughed.

The star also admitted she was terrified of telling her label about her impending arrival, and was sobbing when she first told her management team.

Sam also joked that she won't be in a rush to get her pre-pregnancy body back.

"It'll be something on my mind but I'm not going to be running around Hyde park," she joked. "I'll do it in my own time when I'm ready. I want to concentrate on the baby."
The mum-of-two, who is now expecting her third child, admitted she broke down in tears when she first told her management team because she was so worried about their reaction.

"When we came out of Asda [where Sam discovered out she was pregnant] we came home and I got on the phone to my manager and said, 'Are you sitting down?'

"She said, 'Go on'," and I said, 'I'm pregnant,' and started sobbing and saying I'm sorry.

"She said, 'Why are you apologising? It's great news!'

"And I was like, 'Really?' And that was it."

She added: "Everyone was like don't worry about it, we can juggle things around. It's not like 'Oh Sam's pregnant, that's it, that's your career over,' which is what some people have said. You'd never say that to a guy would you?"

While talking about childcare when the baby is born, she said she won't be getting any help in.

"I'm not getting a nanny, I'll look after my own kids."

She added: "I won't be taking mega amounts of time off because I've got great people around me and people supporting me.

"I need to be there for a certain period time with the baby and stuff like that but it's not like I'm flying off to Cambodia and staying away from home. It's an hour and a half to London."

She continued: "I've got a great husband who's a great dad and he's great at looking after babies. We're going to be alright."

Sam's debut album The Power of Love is out March 24.
