Telly star James Corden is expecting his second child with his charity worker wife Julia.

The couple, who are already doting parents to their three-year-old son Max, will welcome the new addition into their family later this year.

Comic actor James, 35, who is best-known for writing and starring in his BAFTA-winning sitcom Gavin & Stacey, married Julia in September 2012 after being introduced through mutual friend movie star Dominic Cooper.

A source told the Mirror: “James and Julia have loved every minute of becoming parents to their toddler Max and were keen to give him a brother or sister who is close in age.

“They’re delighted to be pregnant again and can’t wait to expand the family.”

Julia showcased her bump on the red carpet in a stunning black gown at the TV BAFTAs in London on Sunday night, as James placed a protective arm around her.

It was after Max was born in 2011 that James decided to go on a health kick and shed five stone from 21 stone to 16 stone.

Speaking about his decision to slim down James said: “I just thought, ‘Enough now. Get a grip. I want to be around to enjoy this’.”

The former party animal admits his best times now are weekends away with Jules and Max.

He said: “We do nothing. Hang out, eat, chill, watch TV, go for walks, just be together.

“Being married, having kids - it changes you. It’s the best thing in the world.”
