-_- Simon Cowell's TV harem: A look back at the ladies who have the seX Factor ?!?!?.

Just how does he do it?

Simon Cowell - the man who famously fired Cheryl Cole from the US X Factor, humiliating her on a global scale after she turned up to the first day of auditions in what can only described as the worst outfit ever known to man - has managed to get his Geordie princess back on TV.

As Cheryl announced her shock return to the show with a gushing press release about how excited she was - we are betting the £1.5million pay check might have something to do with it - we took a look back at the fiery - and raunchy relationships Cowell has had with his leading ladies.

                              CHERYL COLE: 2008 - 2010
Cheryl won over the nations nation's heart after she started her X Factor career in 2008, replacing Sharon Osbourne.

Her show stopping outfits and sensitive one liners made her Simon's favourite judge by a mile - he even transported her to the US version and in 2010 it looked like the media mogul would make Cheryl an international star.

Then he fired her - and not even to her stunning face.

Cowell said later: “The hardest thing to accept is that everyone has painted me as a monster because I embarrassed her, but the truth was I was protecting her. I just want people to be in the best place at the right time.”

Earlier, bosses confirmed that after failing to respond to their offer to come back, she had been officially replaced on the US panel by ex-Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger – who arrived for an interview in London for the Graham Norton Show.

Cheryl filmed just four episodes of the US version of X Factor in May 2011.

Tensions started after the first audition in Los Angeles on May 8 when Cowell told Cheryl to contribute more.

Cowell explained he and TV bosses had previously decided Cheryl was “uncomfortable” on the US show and felt offering her the chance to return to the UK X Factor would be the best option.

He confirmed the deal would have been worth £2.5million if she agreed to it, but talks broke down when news of her problems in America began to leak out.

SCHERZY. Everything X Factor was mostly chermazing and the former Pussycat Doll stunned virtually every week in a series of amazing dresses.

She made Rylan a star but after two years Nicole decided enough was enough and she left the show to concentrate on her romance with Lewis Hamilton.

Lewis had repeatedly begged Nicole to give their relationship another go and held several “summits” to discuss their future.

The music mogul  tweeted thanking  the former Pussycat Doll  for her work on the show.

"Nicole will always be a part of the X factor family. Now signed to Sony as an artist. Thank you Nicole for everything."

TULISA 2011 - 2012
Tulisa was not asked to come back after her two stints on the X Factor. From winning the nation over on the first series and making Little Mix a sensation to a disinterested second series that reportedly led to a "telling off" from Cowell, the N-Dubz singer was finally cut from the X Factor bandwagon when she became the victim of a newspaper sting.

Now Tulisa faces trial this summer over allegations she was involved in a Class A drugs deal - a charge she firmly denies.

During the two seasons Tulisa was insulted by fellow judge Gary Barlow - remember "fag ash breath" comment and reportedly was so bored Simon Cowell was going to cut her before her brush with law.

Tulisa, 24, was criticised or being “too distracted” with her personal life and for turning up late for a number of rehearsals.

A show source said: “Simon has always like to change things every year and Tulisa is going to pay the price for that.

"She wasn’t as committed last year as when she won with Little Mix in 2011 and someone has to exit to freshen the series up.”
