Miley Cyrus was forced to perform an entire song at her Bangerz tour gig in just her underwear last night.

Which doesn't actually sound all that surprising, does it? Considering she's no stranger for getting her kit off and being controversial and all.

But her scantily-clad performance of 23 at the BMO Harris Bradley Centre in Milwaukee wasn't planned - for once.

Following the Bangerz show, the Wrecking Ball swinger hit Twitter to tell her fans she couldn't make her outfit change quick enough.

"Not a new outfit for 23 I didn't make my quick change and I couldn't not come out for the song so I just had to run out in my undies : (.

"Never happened to me before. But I love my fans as much as they love me! I couldn't miss 23.

"Show must go on," she wrote.
