-_- ''Janet Jackson'' Denies Divorce Rumors ???

Janet Jackson has denied rumors that she and her husband are prepared to divorce. Through a representative, the pop star said her marriage to Qatari businessman Wissam Al Mana is going strong and the rumors are blatantly false.

Jackson and Al Mana were married in 2012. Although the event was not publicized, the performer eventually revealed that she and her Al Mana had a “quiet, private, and beautiful ceremony.”

In a 2013 statement, Jackson asked for her privacy. However, she explained that she and her new husband made charitable contributions in lieu of exchanging wedding gifts. Both Jackson and Al Mana chose charities that assist disadvantaged children.

Following their marriage, the new couple reportedly considered adopting a child. As reported by Belfast Telegraph, Jackson was particularly interested in adopting a child from Jorsan or Syria:

“She now pretty much knows pregnancy is not in the cards, so she’s been looking into adopting… She’s been very moved by the events in Jordan and Syria… Not sure how soon it will happen, but there’s been movement on this.”

Perez Hilton discussed the divorce rumors early this week. According to “a source,” Janet Jackson planned to initiate the split:

“She confided to a few close friends and Katherine that she’s preparing to leave him… she’s begun calling friends at all hours crying and saying how miserable she is… Janet is getting set to challenge the prenup and demand a flat lump sum payout from his fortune.”

The rumors are hard to believe, as Jackson and Al Mana are both independently wealthy. As reported by Entertainment Tonight, a representative has confirmed that the couple is “very happy and very much together.” In fact, Jackson and Al Mana recently purchased a new home in New York.

In addition to her work in the entertainment industry, Jackson strongly supports numerous charitable organizations, including Unicef, America’s Promise Alliance, and Starlight. Jackson is scheduled to return to Brazil in April to continue her work with amfAR, which conducts AIDS research.
